Nikolina Cvijić

rođena 1995. godine u Banjoj Luci. Pravni fakultet Univerziteta u Banjoj Luci završava 2022. godine. gdje stiče zvanje diplomiranog pravnika. Dugogodišnja je drušvena i politička aktivistkinja, kao i učesnica mnogobrojnih konferencija i seminara. Tokom studija bila je učesnica Work&Travel programa, gdje je imala priliku da boravi 6 mjeseci u SAD-u. Znanja iz oblasti prava svojine stekla je obavljanjem stručne prakse u Republičkoj upravi za geodetsko i imovinsko pravne poslove. Bila je angažovana na projektima koji su organizovani od strane Ministarstva rada i boračko-invalidske zaštite.

Učesnica 18. susreta mladih, održanih u Trebinju 2014. godine. Pod pokroviteljstvom OSCE-a u kooperaciji sa Pravnim fakultetetom u Banjoj Luci, učestvovala je na radionicama koje se tiču zaštite ljudskih prava, zaštite člana 7. Evropske konvencije o ljudskim pravima kao i krivičnih djela nastalih iz mržnje, te zastupljenosti govora mržnje u javnom diskursu. Bila je učesnica radne grupe na temu člana 6. Evrospke konvencije o ljudskim pravima posmatrano sa građansko-pravnog aspekta čiji je organizator Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. Vještine javnog govora i nastupa, takođe usavršava na radionicama organizovanim od strane KAS-a.. U martu 2021. završava proljetni semestar AmericanBarAssociation-a, gdje se bavila programom legislativne i krivične procedure u BiH u saradnji sa Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. Alumnista je Škole integriteta Trancparency Internationala koja se bavila kreiranjem javnih politika. Na programu National Center for State Courts uspješno je savladala vještine zastupanja u krivičnom postupku. U septembru 2021. završava Školu medijskog prava. Pohađala je pravnu kliniku za ljudska prava Savjeta Evrope. Diplomirala je na političkoj akademiji Fridrich Ebert Stiftunga.

Takođe, pohađala je PRO-Budućnost političku akademiju, gdje je trenutno angažovana na projektu koji se bavi izgradnjom mreže mira u Bosni i Hercegovini. Polaznik je političkih studija Vijeća Evrope i ALPI programa za mlade lidere pod pokroviteljstvom IRI Global-a. Velika je zagovornica osnaživanja žena i mladih u politici. Shodno zalaganjima, trenutno piše rad na temu: Nova generacija političara u kontekstu političke moći- da li mladi mogu preoblikovati politički diskurs. Zainteresovana je za oblasti koje se tiču prava, diplomatije, politike i evropskih integracija. Govori engleski jezik.

Nikolina Cvijić was born in 1995 in Banja Luka. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Banja Luka in 2022 where she acquired the title of a bachelor of law. She has been a social and political activist for many years and a participant in numerous conferences and seminars. During her studies, she participated in the Work & Travel program, where she had the opportunity to stay for 6 months in the United States. She acquired knowledge in property rights by performing professional practice in the Republic Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs. She was engaged in projects organized by the Ministry of Labor, War Veterans, and Disabled People’s Protection.

She participated in the 18th youth meeting in Trebinje in 2014. Under the auspices of the OSCE, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka, she also participated in workshops on human rights protection, protection of Article 7 of the European Convention on Human Rights and hate crimes, and the representation of hate speech in public discourse. She participated in the working group on Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights, observed from the civil law aspect, organized by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. She also improved her public speaking and presentation skills at workshops organized by KAS. In March 2021, she attended the spring semester of the AmericanBarAssociation, where she worked on the legislative and criminal procedure program in BiH in cooperation with Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. She is an alumnus of the Transparency International School of Integrity, which has been involved in policy-making. At the National Center for State Courts, she successfully mastered the skills of representation in criminal proceedings. In September 2021, she graduated from the School of Media Law. She also attended the Council of Europe’s Human Rights Law Clinic and graduated from the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Political Academy.

She attended the PRO- Future Political Academy, where she is currently engaged in a project of building a peace network in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a participant in the Council of Europe’s political studies and the ALPI program for young leaders under the auspices of IRI Global. She strongly advocates for the empowerment of women and youth in politics. Accordingly, she is currently writing an essay on the topic: A new generation of politicians in the context of political power – whether young people can reshape political discourse. She is interested in law, diplomacy, politics, and European integration. She is fluent in English.
